Bob finally stepped into the spotlight at Evo 2026 with the debut of his gameplay trailer. Staying true to his post-transformation fighting style from previous entries, he blends surprising agility with his imposing size, creating a unique mix of speed and power.

The trailer opens with Bob making a stylish entrance on a skateboard. Interestingly, despite the memorable introduction, the board never becomes part of his combat arsenal during the gameplay footage that follows.

To offset Bob’s notably large hurtbox, his toolkit includes several techniques that let him absorb incoming strikes with his massive belly. When this special property is active, attacks simply rebound off him, leaving opponents exposed and creating the perfect opportunity for a punishing counterattack.

The trailer even highlights this mechanic during Bob’s introduction against Kazuya. As Kazuya throws a punch while Bob rolls in on his skateboard, the attack harmlessly bounces off Bob’s stomach, immediately demonstrating how effective the defensive ability can be.

The closing moments of the trailer offer fans a brief glimpse at Roger Jr., the next fighter joining the Season 3 Pass after Bob. His full gameplay reveal is scheduled for Evo France 2026 on October 11, 2026.

Bob is set to join the Tekken 8 roster on August 24, 2026. Players who own the Season 3 Pass will be able to jump in ahead of everyone else, gaining early access beginning August 19, 2026.
