Street Fighter 6 has recently welcomed Ingrid as its 30th playable fighter, closing out the Season 3 lineup. With her arrival complete, attention now shifts toward Season 4, where Yasmine, Arjun, Tifa Lockhart, and Bosch are expected to join the roster. For now, though, Ingrid’s more unusual quirks are keeping players entertained while they wait for the next wave of content.

Within her toolkit lies something far more obscure than her standard moveset. Players who understand the required inputs can, under very specific conditions, access a hidden interaction involving the Monoid. When executed correctly, this allows Ingrid to merge with the Monoid, transforming into a far more potent version known as Dark Ingrid.

As expected, Dark Ingrid is significantly stronger than her base form. She gains access to an amplified version of her light beam attack, capable of instantly forcing burnout on hit, alongside techniques such as Sun Octopus. However, actually triggering this transformation in a real match borders on impractical, given how restrictive the conditions are.

The upgraded light beam in particular stands out for its sheer damage potential. In a recent clip shared by Kasai, even a partial connection of the attack against a neutral-jumping Zangief deals roughly 5,300 damage. From there, Dark Ingrid can continue extending the combo.

Considering that Zangief—known for having the highest health pool in the game at 11,000 stamina—this opens the door to a theoretical touch of death combo. In practice, though, the setup is so complex and situational that it is unlikely to ever appear in an actual competitive match for a variety of reasons.
